Introduction to Cattle and Boxing Clinic February 8th (Snow date Feb. 15th) 10am - 4pm Storm Harbor Equestrian Center, Slippery Rock PA Lunch provided by WH Beef $200/ rider -Specifically designed for riders who have never shown in boxing. Boxing is the first step in learning the skills necessary for working Cow Horse. Show Complex, Harlansburg PA "Clinic Participant Only" Classes at a discounted entry fee on the show bill on Sunday $175/rider/session Deposit to reserve a spot in the clinc is $75/session May 3rd Morning Session 9am-1pm Introduction to Cattle and Boxing Clinic -Specifically designed for riders who have never shown in Boxing or who would like to increase thier boxing scores. Boxing is the first step in learning the skill necessary for working Cow Horse. We will cover: -Maneuvers necessary for managing cattle -Introducing horses and riders to cattle -The purpose of Boxing cattle -What to expect when you show in a Boxing class and how to improve your scores -Participants will be working in the same arena as it will be set up for the Mat 4th show and all of the SIS Ranch Show Series. May 3rd Afternoon Session 2pm-6pm Introduction to Working Cow Horse -Specifically designed for riders who have limited experience competing in the WOrking Cow Horse class. We will cover: -Maneuvers necessary for managing cattle -The purpose of Boxing cattle in the Working Cow Horse class -How to drive down the fence -What to expect when you show in a Working Cow Horse class -How to increase your scores -Participants will be working in the same arena as it will be set up for May 4th show and all the SIS Ranch Show Series.
